Need a Bible? I recommend looking on Amazon. There are so many different translations, so choose the one you prefer. Here is the one that I have: https://amzn.to/407wC0F
I also recommend introducing your kids to the Bible while they are young. Here are the ones that I got for my kids as they grew up:
- Between the ages of infant to 5: Small, short and graphic Bibles are the best for this age group, especially as they begin to learn how to read and write: https://amzn.to/3YkEx9p
- Between 5-9: My kids loved the adventure Bible like this on: https://amzn.to/3YmzkxO
- And once they got to about age 10, I started transitioning them to a Bible like mine.

Tis the Season:
The weather is changings, it is cooler, and the environment screams for coziness and comfort. What better way to relax than a cup of hot cocoa or cider, curled up in a blanket on the couch, next to the fireplace. Each year I make hot cocoa bombs (which I started referring to as bums) as a small side business, and they are a hit. I would like to share some of my cocoa bomb recipes with all of you for those who want to make your own from home.
First, the chocolate. I love Sweet Tooth chocolates; however, you can use any melting chocolates. I recommend getting the ones that are cheapest because frankly once they are mixed with the milk, you can’t really taste a difference.
Cocoa bum box of the week (flavors from left to right, top to bottom): red velvet, white chocolate, dark chocolate, cupcake, peppermint mocha, caramel brulee, cookie monster, gingerbread, Fall in love (pumpkin spice and cinnamon), dark velvet, salted caramel, white chocolate peppermint, home for the holidays (eggnog), salted caramel mocha, snickerdoodle, razzle dazzle (dark chocolate raspberry), PBnC (peanut butter and chocolate), lucky charm, sweet n mallow, peanut butter, cheesecake, chocolate, fluffer nutter (peanut butter white chocolate with marshmallows), death by chocolate
Assembly: to make THE BEST cocoa bomb, start by heating up 6oz of your milk of choice. Once warm, drop your cocoa bum in there and let it melt for about 1-2 minutes. Take a spoon and stir around until the bum is broken down into tiny pieces. Next, rewarm it about 15-20 seconds. Then, take your milk frother and froth it for about 1 minute (this makes it SOOOO creamy and delicious).
Top it with some whipped cream and a few more crushed candy cane pieces and enjoy!

Embark on a journey to reboot your hormones
When your hormones are imbalanced your body is no longer in homeostasis. This often leads to weight gain, increased cortisol release which often times leads to unwarranted stress and anxiety, brain fog and can ultimately lead your body into a state of widespread inflammation that can lead to pain and disease. It is time to take action, reset those hormones and live a cleaner, healthier, and happier life.

Want to create your own website or blog? – MAKE SURE IT IS LEGAL!
I found Amira on Pinterest and I am so thankful I did. Having NO IDEA anything legal wise, so she made all my legal documents for me. I HIGHLY recommend having her do the same for you. AND it was cheaper than actually hiring an attorney or lawyer to do the paperwork for me.

About Me
My name is Heather Spencer. I am a mom, wife, dog mom, daughter, sister, paramedic, educator and a Christian. I LOVE the Lord! Growing up I never knew what my “gift” was until just recently, I have the gift of teaching. My hobbies include crafting, hanging out with my family, movies and COFFEE! I recently have developed a strong passion for holistic approaches to medicine and cooking.
My why: I created this site to build an online community for Christian parents, men, women and families. A place where I can pray for people from around the world and give Christian parents scripture for their kids and husbands, with a follow up prayer. I have never been good at praying out loud, but I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect. We are all in need of support, love and prayer, and this is my way of being able to share the great news of Christ, build a community and meet new people. I also wanted to provide quick and easy meals for those busy parents, so I share my favorite recipes, modifications for the kids and their thoughts about those meals.
I would love to hear from all of you! Feel free to email me or comment below to introduce yourself and tell me how I can pray for you [email protected]
